The Den

The Den is our pride and joy. When we envisioned Soneva Kiri, we knew wanted to do something special for children. Incredibly special. If we wanted to rekindle a childlike wonder in adults, then we had to go profusely over the edge in our children’s offering. A giant moulded bamboo playground shaped like a manta ray, The Den is dedicated to learning, to excitement, to meaningful experiences. Professional child minders pique your children’s imaginations, teaching them to play Thai instruments, unleashing their creative talents with painting and the visual arts, and carefully watching them at play in the wonderous world of moulded bamboo spaces up, down and around.

The Eco Den

We offer a special programme aimed specifically at one to five year-olds in our Eco Den, making Soneva Kiri the only resort that offers such comprehensive, age-specific facilities. We continue to offer our specially curated Den programmes for children over 5 years and teenagers at the Eco Den and at other exciting locations around the island. At the Eco Den, the children get to play with toys and take part in activities, that meet Soneva’s stringent standards of social and environmental responsibility. All children are looked after by qualified childcare experts, supported by local child carers.

DIY Workshops

Young Sonevians can learn to ‘do-it-themselves’ with a range of hands-on workshops that harness their creativity. With a focus on sustainability and upcycling, sessions can include designing and painting a t-shirt, decorating a bag, or creating a photo frame to take home as a souvenir.

Private Cinema Paradiso

Watch classic movies under the stars at our jungle auditorium in the centre of a tropical lagoon. Recline on comfortable cushions as you nibble on a menu of gourmet comfort foods, accompanied by creative cocktails. Cinema Paradiso shows classic films on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Private cinema screenings can be arranged for all other evenings.

Seven Days, Seven Beaches

Step aboard a wooden fishing boat to explore some of Thailand’s most beautiful beaches, bays and hidden coves. The boat becomes your private beach club at anchor: snorkel, swim ashore to sunbathe, go kayaking or paddle boarding, and enjoy a gourmet lunch, prepared on board. Each day takes you to a different beach, including: Klong Chao Beach, Ao Kluai, Koh Rang’s Blue Lagoon, Klong Han Beach, Ao Tapao, Klong Ngamko Beach and Takhian Beach.
