The Den unfolds as a space for imagination to roam freely. A technology-free space, where children and teens are free to play, create and discover at their own pace. Guided with care and attention, each day is shaped by curiosity, quiet adventure and the freedom to find their own way.

The Space

Spanning more than 1,365 sqm, The Den opens out like its own small world. A space larger than six tennis courts, shaped for movement, play and imagination. An eight-metre pirate ship invites adventure. Giant piano keys echo with sound and laughter. Two pools offer time to splash and slow down, while a dedicated cinema brings quiet moments in between. Each corner reveals something new, with space to explore and space to simply be.

Creative Play

A space without screens, where curiosity sets the rhythm. The Den invites children to move freely between moments of making and quiet discovery.
Instruments wait to be played. Costumes to be tried on and stories to be imagined. A room of more than 8,000 Lego and Duplo pieces opens up endless possibilities, while a small library offers space to slow down, read and learn. Each corner is there to be found in its own time.

Daily Experiences

Each day unfolds a little differently. A weekly rhythm of thoughtful, complimentary activities brings families together, with space to join in or simply follow what feels right. From cooking and nature walks to island adventures and hands-on workshops, the programme is shaped with care. Always changing, never hurried and open to discovery.

The Den at Soneva Fushi is a world of play, creativity and discovery for young Sonevians. From hands-on activities and outdoor adventures to moments of imagination and learning, our weekly programme is designed to engage children and teenagers aged 4 to 17. For children under 4 years old, a one-to-one babysitting service is available.

Yes. Access to The Den and its full programme of complimentary daily experiences is included for children aged 4 to 17 staying at Soneva Fushi. From cooking classes and creative workshops to island adventures and movie nights, everything is designed to delight younger guests at no additional charge.

Yes. Qualified and experienced childminders are present at The Den at all times, providing a safe, secure and nurturing environment for every child. Parents are welcome to enjoy the space together as a family, or take some well-earned time to themselves knowing their children are in the very best hands.
