Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree/ diploma or equivalent in Culinary Arts from a reputed culinary school.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in a five star luxury hotels or resorts with an intermediate Food and Hygiene training certification.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluent in English, and an additional Language is a plus
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of cost awareness with managerial & computer skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with the management team to create an enticing menu featuring a wide range of Japanese cuisine.
  • Ability to update and refine the menu to reflect seasonal availability and current culinary trends.
  • Ability to prepare and cook a variety of Chinese dishes, ensuring high-quality and authentic flavors. Utilize your expertise in handling ingredients, spices, and cooking techniques specific to Chinese cuisine.
