Bruno Oger fell in love with cuisine at the tender age of 12 and decided to make it his future career. He swore that one day he would work in a Michelin Guide three-star restaurant. When he was 21, he worked with Georges Blanc at his prestigious three-star restaurant. In 1989, Georges Blanc gave Bruno the opportunity to represent him and manage the kitchens at Normandy. At 23 years of age, Bruno Oger came to oversee a team of 15 cooks. In 1993, he rejoined Georges Blanc as executive chef. In 1995, he was recruited to manage the kitchens at the Majestic Barrière on La Croisette in Cannes.
In 1997, he was awarded his first Michelin star. Three years later, Bruno earned a score of 18/20 and was voted Meilleur Cuisinier de l’Année by Gault-Millau. Bruno Oger plays a major role in the Cannes Film Festival, having produced the most important official dinners. In 2011, only 10 months after opening, the Bruno’s restaurant, La Villa Archange, was awarded two Michelin stars. Bruno is still the official chef of the Cannes Film Festival, and member of the ‘Grandes Tables du Monde’.
