Legal Terms & Conditions


General Terms
We are Soneva Management Private Limited, a company registered in Singapore. We and our subsidiaries are referred to in this document as “Soneva”, “we” or “us”. Gift Cards are sold and distributed by Soneva. By accessing this site, by purchasing a Gift Card on this site, or by using a Gift Card, you agree to be bound by the legal terms and conditions governing the sale and use of Soneva Gift Cards, as defined by Soneva.

Purchasing a Gift Card
Soneva Gift Cards must be purchased online and can be used by contacting Soneva Reservations or during your stay at any Soneva Resort. All sales of Gift Cards are final. After a Gift Card is purchased, it may not be returned, cancelled, redeemed for cash or applied to any credit card balance, unless otherwise stated by law.

Using Your Gift Card
Unless stated otherwise, Soneva Gift Cards can be redeemed against experiences, dining, spa, accommodation rates and Soneva products, based on availability. Diving and domestic transfers (e.g. seaplane flights or boat transfers) are excluded, and Gift Cards can not be used for down payments or deposits. Soneva Gift Cards can be redeemed for one or more orders and can be used towards an order of greater value than the available amount on the Soneva Gift Card, when combined with other forms of payment. Guest charges in excess of the Soneva Gift Card value may be settled with cash or any major credit card. Soneva Gift Cards must be used to make purchases using the same currency in which it was issued. The local exchange rate will be used to calculate your Soneva Gift Card value.

Gift Card Validity
Soneva Gift Cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. The Gift Cards can not be extended in validity or refunded and Soneva has the right to reject any expired voucher. Gift Cards can only be extended at the discretion of Soneva.

Lost or Stolen Gift Cards
Gift Cards have monetary value and should be protected accordingly. Ownership and risk of loss of Gift Cards is transferred to the recipient of the Gift Card immediately upon completion of order processing. Soneva will not refund or replace a Gift Card, and will not be liable for any lost, stolen, copied or compromised cards, or any remaining balance on such Gift Cards.

Gift Card Customer Service
If you need assistance with the purchase of your Gift Card, please contact Soneva at [email protected]. Please ensure you have your voucher ID number available, or can provide your email address.

Personalised Messages
If you wish to add a personalised message to a Gift Card, simply type your message into the ‘Message’ field when purchasing your Gift Card. Personal messages are limited in length to the space provided on the Gift Card. There is no additional charge to include a personalised message. If Soneva deems any message inappropriate, offensive or otherwise objectionable, the Gift Card may be delayed, held or cancelled at the sole discretion of Soneva.

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Soneva and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from and against all claims and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of your use of this site.

You may not use Soneva’s trademarks, logos, service marks or other proprietary designations without obtaining prior written consent.

Fraudulent Behaviour
Soneva reserves the right to refuse orders placed with Soneva Gift Cards that may be invalid, fraudulent or the result of code duplication.
