I feel very lucky as I’ve had the opportunity to work in over a dozen countries across the world. Facilitating various workshops and leading experiential education courses for young people and other educators across the globe has allowed me to learn, adapt and keep an open mind. Some highlights would include, being a part of the team designing the Den and our educational children’s programs in Soneva Fushi; running an adventure camp in the remote mountains of Canada; managing summer camps in the UK; facilitating workshops across the Maldives focusing on leadership through the lens of the sustainable development goals as part of the Flying Fish Leadership program. Lastly, my current role as the Director of the Soneva Namoona NGO Operations is a huge highlight – this role is challenging and creative; I feel very fortunate to be working with such a passionate and hardworking team and all our committed partners on taking positive climate action for a cleaner and greener future.

Could you describe a typical day for you?

What inspires you?

Nature. Laughter. Results.

What would you recommend as a “Must See” for any guest coming to Soneva?

Eco-Centro – it is an inspirational place epitomizing a solution based approach to waste management and seeing waste as a resource; this was also the inspiration for so much work that Soneva Namoona is working on with local island councils. The Den – it is a fun-filled magic land for children and their families, where you’ll never get bored! Flying Sauces – the new restaurant that takes dining to new heights, literally – a must visit for a taste of adventure!!
