When you arrive at Soneva Fushi or Soneva Jani, you can rest assured that our New Normal procedures put the safety of you and your loved ones first. Our testing protocols mean that you can enjoy your island escape without having to wear a mask once you get your negative test results. We test all our guests on arrival, and test our Hosts on a regular basis, using our COVID-19 testing lab at Maafaru International Airport.

When you arrive at Soneva Fushi or Soneva Jani, you will be escorted to your villa where our resort nurse will conduct a PCR test on each guest. While you wait for your results (around 12-15 hours), we ask that you quarantine in the villa where you can use your pool, enjoy the beach outside your villa and indulge with In-Villa Dining.

Once you receive a negative test result, you can explore the resort completely mask free, getting a taste for what life was like before COVID-19. If you or any of your party test positive, we ask that you continue to quarantine in your villa until a negative test result is received.
