Requirements
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:
- A university degree is preferred, as is membership in an internationally recognized accounting body
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working as an accountant in a resort or hotel is preferred
- Experience with the Oracle System is preferred, as are advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Self-motivated, proactive, responsible, and a good team player
- Ability to manage the financial aspects of Soneva projects, will be responsible for the budgeting and forecasting activities of all aspects of the projects
- Prepare management/financial reporting and budgetary control
- Monitor all project costs and address variances for all projects, recommending possible courses of action to remedy the situation
- Review and challenge cash planning; improving internal process efficiency and ensuring that financial policies, procedures, and processes are followed
- Assist in the delivery of organizational KPIs, liaise with project managers, and directly report to top management in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner
- Challenge the project teams to ensure successful project execution
- Ad-hoc assignments as and when required
- Enforce ethics and compliance policies, including 3rd party payments
