Second Chapter of JLF Soneva Fushi Draws to a Close

Soneva and Teamwork Arts, producer of the annual Jaipur Literature Festival and its international JLF extensions, joined forces to host the second edition of JLF Soneva Fushi in the Maldives from May 12 to 21, 2023. Held on the shores of Soneva Fushi in the Baa Atoll, the one-of-a-kind barefoot festival once again saw a star-studded line-up of acclaimed authors, thinkers and cultural leaders take part in a dazzling celebration of art, music and literature.

JLF Soneva Fushi illuminated South Asia’s vibrant literary legacy with an exciting programme of stimulating panels, workshops, and book and poetry readings, alongside gala dinners on the sand, film screenings and live music performances under the stars. Spread across ten days and two weekends, the Festival’s wide-ranging themes were designed to provoke thought and debate. Fiction, food, travel, art and wellness were discussed alongside climate change, nature and the environment, harmonising perfectly with Soneva Fushi’s role as a pioneer for sustainable luxury hospitality.
