CEO and Founder of Sol over Gudhjem, Denmark’s largest culinary competition, Mikkel Marschall brings a wealth of expertise shaped by his years in Michelin-starred kitchens. Mikkel honed his skills as head chef at Kadeau Bornholm and assistant head chef at Kadeau Copenhagen, each recognised with one Michelin star, as well as at formel B, Herman, Søllerød Kro, La Rosetta in Rome and the two-Michelin-starred Henne Kirkeby Kro.
With accolades such as Chef of the Year Bronze in 2011 and third place in Denmark’s Bocuse d’Or Selection, Mikkel’s culinary journey is marked by a dedication to innovation and a deep respect for Danish cuisine, making him one of Denmark’s most influential culinary figures.
