Requirements

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in a luxury resort/hotel.
  • A degree or diploma in hotel management or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of pastry techniques, including baking, decorating, platting, making different types of doughs, tarts, sponges, creams, mousses, ice creams, sorbets and granitas.
  • Should have knowledge about different types of cookies, skills in chocolate tempering, fudges, truffles, etc.
  • Ability to handle the pastry and breakfast buffet setup and live pastry stations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact with guests.
  • Thorough knowledge of food safety management through HACCP.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cohesively in a team.
  • Self-driven individual, and a proactive team player.
