Requirements
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in a luxury resort/hotel.
A degree or diploma in hotel management or a related field.
Basic knowledge of pastry techniques, including baking, decorating, platting, making different types of doughs, tarts, sponges, creams, mousses, ice creams, sorbets and granitas.
Should have knowledge about different types of cookies, skills in chocolate tempering, fudges, truffles, etc.
Ability to handle the pastry and breakfast buffet setup and live pastry stations.
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact with guests.
Thorough knowledge of food safety management through HACCP.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cohesively in a team.
Self-driven individual, and a proactive team player.
