Perform a variety of culinary duties associated with the preparation and presentation of Thai dishes, as well as having knowledge of western cuisine, in strict accordance with Soneva's dining services and procedures.
Requirements:
Ensure food safety procedures and perform cooking functions within all kitchens in Soneva (including buffet preparation, plate presentation and outdoor dining).
Prepare all the assigned daily mise-en-place and food items, according to predetermined recipes and guidelines given by the superior.
Check all food requisitions and make sure not to over-order.
Education: Secondary school / Diploma in Culinary Art.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of culinary experience.
Language: Thai/English proficiency.
Other Knowledge and Skills: Able to organise work orders. Good knowledge of kitchen operations. Creative and flexible, with the ability to deal with stressful situations and work in a team.
