Requirements
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required:
- Degree or an equivalent certification in Agriculture/Horticulture or Permaculture.
- Candidates should have extensive practical experience in permaculture garden design.
- Proven experience implementing waste management strategies, such as composting, recycling, and reusing organic materials, within the permaculture framework.
- Ability to implement soil-building techniques such as composting, mulching, and cover cropping to improve soil fertility and structure.
- Ability to conduct site analysis and assessments to identify opportunities and constraints for designing and implementing sustainable landscapes and ecosystems.
- Ability to provide technical support for permaculture gardens, as well as oversee the maintenance of diverse crops, trees, and perennial plants.
- Ability to work cohesively in a team and manage a diverse group.
