This plant-based dining experience in the middle of the resort’s sprawling organic garden offers a menu inspired by Chef Samantha Haeberli’s multicultural background. Guests will be taken on a journey through the garden, learning about plant-based cuisine before enjoying dishes that come directly from the earth, as they were intended.
The evening begins with a walk through the extensive organic garden at Soneva Kiri. Guided by the chef, diners will learn about the healing properties of the produce growing around them and they are encouraged to pick, taste and smell along the way. Eagle-eyed guests will have the chance to find the hidden lemon basil raindrops in the lemon tree. The ingredients used focus on nature’s healing foods, such as adaptogenic mushrooms and herbs like holy basil, which have been used for centuries to cure and prevent disease. There are no processed foods or refined sugar used in the menu, even when it comes to the coconut cake.
The menu has been designed to provide diners with nutrient-dense, colourful dishes that can be paired with natural wines, and includes a Medicinal Mixology cocktail class with the Botanical Bartender.
