Meet the Tastemaker: Chef Ravi, from simple naan to fusion cuisine
From humble beginnings where he only knew how to make naan, Chef Ravi left school to work in a hotel. There he used a combination of hard work, determination and charm to work his way up in the kitchen, and persuaded those around him to teach him to cook. He has since studied under some of the world’s finest chefs, to which he adds his own personal twist.
Visiting Down to Earth by Chef Ravi, at Soneva Fushi, is like walking into a family home where you are greeted with a smile, a warm welcome and exquisite food cooked from the heart.
