Chef Kichii has a simple mission: to make people happy. As Soneva Jani’s Grand
Master Chef, he cooks from the heart, following the Japanese philosophy of ‘omotenashi’, which means crafting thoughtful and rare dining experiences that are unique for each guest.
Having gained two Michelin stars before joining the Soneva team, Chef Kiichi is famed for his playful, informal approach, engaging in an ongoing dialogue with diners to create a completely bespoke menu, tailored to their tastes. Combining traditional Japanese techniques with his own characteristic flourish, such as freshly picked herbs from Soneva Jani’s organic gardens, every dish tantalises the senses and creates lasting memories.
