Chef Jenefer grew up foraging in the forests that surrounded her rural home in the Philippines. From a young age she could identify which plants, vegetables and fruits were edible. She would catch fish from the river, find some wild lemongrass and tamarind leaves, and cook sour soup for her friends.
Her sense of adventure has never left her. Today, at Shades of Green, Soneva Fushi, she uses her knowledge of botany and her culinary skills to serve plant-based dishes that are works of art. In the midst of the verdant organic garden, Chef Jenefer is both your chef and guide as you reconnect with nature, nourishing the body and soul.
